When entering Birth there is a great unknown. I am that grounded calm presence that you can rely on the whole way through, so you don't feel alone. As a Birth Doula, I also provide labor comfort techniques and help you and your partner navigate advocacy for your birth preferences.

Prenatal Preparation, Birth and Postpartum Support

PRENATAL PREPARATION

Once we begin our journey together we start preparing for your birth and can meet in the comfort of your own home. I offer 2-3 Prenatal Visits to discuss your birth feelings and preferences. I also provide birth, postpartum and breastfeeding education throughout our visits together.

BIRTH SUPPORT

Once you become 38 weeks I am on call 24/7 for your birth. I come when you are ready for me and can meet you either at home or in the hospital. I provide comfort techniques, assist your partner with them, and provide suggestions on movements, positions and other coping strategies to help you find your rhythm and ritual during labor. I can help advocate your needs to the medical team and help explain things to you in more simple terms so you can primarily focus on birthing your baby.

POSTPARTUM

I stay up to two hours after your birth to assist you with breastfeeding if desired and to ensure you have your special bonding time with your new child. I am also a Postpartum Doula and Lactation Specialist so we can focus in on making sure you get breastfeeding off to a good start and are nurtured and cared for after the birth.

BACK-UP

I offer secured Back-Up Support in the rare case of an emergency if I am unable to attend. I work with a small group of like-minded women who are highly trained and have a similar philosophy and presence as I do. You are guaranteed an experienced wonderful Doula!

My job is to protect your birth space, and to encourage you to do what you are capable of.

My goal is for you to understand and be educated about your birth choices so you can feel empowered no matter what happens during your birth. I also aim for you to feel that I am here for you every step of the way and that you will not be alone.

2 Postpartum Visits of 1.5 hours length

COST: $1150 (PAYMENT PLANS ACCEPTED)

Birth Care Package

A standard Birth package with more prenatal and postpartum care for extra education, preparation and baby feeding support.

3 prenatal visits
24/7 on call support starting at 38 weeks
Attendance of your labor and birth when you feel you need me
Presence of up to two hours postpartum to help you transition after birth and help with breastfeeding as desired
3 Postpartum Visits of 1.5 hours length

COST: $1300 (PAYMENT PLANS ACCEPTED)

Birth and Postpartum Package

A standard birth package with some extra Postpartum Care

2 prenatal visits
24/7 on call support starting at 38 weeks
Attendance of your labor and birth when you feel you need me
Presence of up to two hours postpartum to help you transition after birth and help with breastfeeding as desired
4 Postpartum Visits of 4 hour length

COST: $1500 (PAYMENT PLANS ACCEPTED)
